During online registration at the NYSC portal, your registration will not be completed until you print
your Green Card slip.
*Note:* NYSC ‘Green card’ is not literally green in colour. The word ‘Green’ only show how
important the document is.
*WHAT IS NYSC GREEN CARD?*
The NYSC Green Card is an online registration print out slip. It’s printed after online registration
showing that your registration is successful. It is also needed at NYSC orientation for physical
verification.
It will be available within 24/72hours of successful registration or few minutes after a successful registration.
*FEATURES OF NYSC GREEN CARD*
The Green Card contains the following information;
NYSC Logo, with NYSC letter heading including the head office address
Batch you are currently in and year of service
Call-up number: it’s a unique identification number that NYSC assign to every prospective
corps member.
Personal Details: this includes, your name, date of birth, state of origin, and so on.
Contact: Your address, phone number and state visited.
Next of kin details: Name, number and address of your next of kin
Education qualification: Grade, Institution, year of graduation, course of study.
The NYSC Green card can only be printed online after completing your online reg including payment.
There’s no other way it can be gotten except by printing it out.
*HOW TO PRINT NYSC GREEN CARD*
Go to the NYSC portal at portal.nysc.org.ng
Login to your dashboard with your registered e-mail address and password
Click “Resume”. Scroll down and Look for “Print Slip button
Click “Print Slip”.
Once you click on ”Print slip”, a new screen will open up showing preview of your Green Card
You will then see “Open” for those using phone (Google chrome browser), tap open and your green card will download automatically in PDF format.
Take to any cafe, or any business center and print.
Going back to same cafe you registered to print is at no cost, but a different cafe will attract printing charges.

*NOTE: Medical fitness medicals is a must take to Camp. Most Camps Rejects Medical Certificate with Scanned Signatures, don’t let Medical Report get you into trouble in Camp*

*PCMs that finished from an institution within NIGERIA, Local trained PCMs are not uploading any document but go with the following*
1 white background passport
Know the name of your primary, secondary and tertiary institution
Know the year you started and finished your primary, secondary and tertiary institution
Take up to N5000 to the registration centre, you will pay 3000 to NYSC and pay for cafe/business Centre charges for the registration and it ranges from 1000 to 2000 depending on your area. Also make photocopies of your documents. It’s expensive in camp
Have an email preferably GMAIL. If you don’t have, you can open it during online registration. Just tell the cafe man.
Know your Genotype and blood group, you will fill those during online registration
Biro and Pen, write your username and password to avoid incorrect details and confusion.

*For those with life threatening diseases such as HIV and sickle cell. Kindly upload your medical report during online registration. Also for those with disabilities and special needs.*

*FOR MARRIED FEMALE PCMs, you’ll be uploading the following* So make sure you go with enough cash
Marriage certificate
Photocopy of your husbands working ID card
Newspaper Evidence of change of name from Miss to Mrs
Original of utility bills from your husbands place of resident.
Domicile Letter
Kindly Get all these required documents ready before the date for Online registration including your MEDICAL FITNESS CERTIFICATE WHICH IS COMPULSORY FOR NYSC CAMP, To obtain a valid and authentic one

Steps To Correct Mistakes Made During NYSC Online Registration
Follow the steps below to correct your errors:-
How to Correct Date of Birth
According to NYSC, henceforth, information from the West African Examination Council (WAEC) is now being used to effect changes on the NYSC portal�The new procedure is as follows:
Login to your dashboard and click on the link to Date of Birth
Enter WAEC Verification PIN, select WAEC Type, Year of exam and enter your Examination Number
Click on Verify button
Click SUBMIT or CANCEL
How to Correct Course of Study
The Following are the Procedures for Correction Of Course Of Study On The�NYSC Platform.
Login to your dashboard and click on the link for Correction of Course of Study;
Select Course of Study; and
Click SUBMIT
*How to Change Wrong Passports*
According to NYSC, PCMs who have mistakenly uploaded wrong passport photographs during Online Registration are to send their Call-up Numbers and Names to NYSC official Facebook message box,officialnysc, also scan a written application for dropping of passport photograph and send to info@nysc.gov.ng, so that it can be dropped, and you will be enabled to re-upload.
PCMs with *wrong thumb print* and “passport photographs* can also contact NYSC States Secretariat before the commencement of the Orientation Exercise.
How to Correct Names
You are to login to your dashboard and request for correction of spelling mistakes and rearrangement of your names.
However, those who need addition or removal of names will have to go back to their institutions of graduation, who will in turn formally communicate such request to the NYSC.
Note that Addition or Removal of names will not be attended to until your Institution follow the laydown procedure.
This is necessary to ensure that your Certificate of��National Service does not bear a wrongly spelled name.
How to Correct Sex or State of Origin
According to NYSC, you can lodge a complaint or apply for correction at the ICT unit when you get to the NYSC orientation camp.
