The Governor made this statement during discussions with a delegation from the Water Resources and Development Agency who paid him a visit at the Government House in Dutse.

The delegation, led by the Director of Water Supply, Engineer Abu Hassan, stated that their visit was to ensure the continuation of information sharing about this significant project and to engage with state officials to ensure the success of this initiative.

Governor Namadi emphasized that his administration is determined to collaborate closely with the Water Resources Agency to advance the Dutse water project and address associated challenges promptly.

“This project is pivotal in our governance and is essential for the people of Dutse, our capital city. It’s imperative to provide adequate water supply for the populace, and God willing, we will intensify efforts to ensure the completion of this crucial project. We’re continuously monitoring all necessary reports and data to facilitate this project,” Governor Namadi asserted.

Responding to the delegation, Engineer Abu Hassan expressed satisfaction with the Jigawa State government’s commitment to the water project. He highlighted the Governor’s dedication and urged further support from stakeholders to expedite the completion of the project, emphasizing its significance in the region’s water management.
