A liter of oil in northern Nigeria could fetch 700 naira in July, oil industry traders predict.

In southern Nigeria, the price of a liter of oil can rise to 700 naira because women have started importing oil themselves since early July, said Mike Osatuui, president of the Association of Petroleum Dealers and Transporters.

Currently, oil companies in the north are selling at 550 naira or more per liter.

As long as the oil dealer raises the price to 700, many gas stations will sell more, and then 900 or even more.

Businessmen want to raise this price on fuel cost which by the way is pure evil for poor people in Nigeria. Even if it includes groceries or tuition?

Lord, we ask you to intervene in this situation and end the pain and high life cost we are going through.
