President Tinubu announces emergency law on food prices, farmers’ safety

Tinub also ordered the immediate distribution of fertilizers and grains to farmers and their families in response to the removal of fuel subsidies.
He also directed the National Food and Commodity Administration to assess grain prices and manage grain storage strategies to adjust prices for grain and other foods. Through the committee, the government will regulate the increase in food prices in Nigeria.
He also vowed to protect farms and farmers, allowing farmers to return to farms without fear of attack.
Presidential spokesman Dele Arak revealed the news to the media on Thursday.
As long as the national government implements this project, I believe the cost of consumer goods and other infrastructure will be alleviated.
