She can’t control her grades. They just wanted to give a scholarship to another person – The father of the student accused of falsifying JAMB results has spoken
Mr. Romanus Ejikeme is the father of Mmesoma, an Anambra student who is currently in dispute with the JAMB result. He claimed that there was an attempt to block the three million naira support his daughter received from the CEO of Innoson Motors, Innocent Chukwuma.
Speaking to Leadership newspaper, Ejikeme said that his daughter has shown talent in reading since kindergarten and has been at the top of her class from kindergarten to high school. He said he believed his daughter could not control her results.
“We are from Olduma, Aniri Local Government Area, Enugu State, but we live in Uluagu, Nevi. Mmesoma is my first child. She was always number one.
When she was studying at Auba Girls’ School, Mme Soma represented the school in a competition. So when she returned to the Anglican girls’ school, her teachers from the Auba girls’ school came and begged me to let her stay in their school; she is promoting the name of their school.
Mmesoma cannot control her UTME marks. I don’t believe what they say. They just want to transfer the scholarship to another person. That is why they said Mme Soma did not get it.
Even her friend (Mmesoma) saw the scores online and called her first before going to post them. We are drunk now,” said Mmesoma’s father
Ejikeme complained that since she visited the Commissioner for Education and was taken to the DSS office, his daughter was upset and sometimes crying.
