We are excited to bring you the highly anticipated National Examinations Council (NECO) timetable for the year 2023!

Here’s the comprehensive breakdown of the NECO examination schedule:

✅ Examination Date: July 5th – August 10th, 2023

Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE):

• Date: July 5th – July 11th, 2023
• Subjects: English Studies, Mathematics, Basic Science and Technology, Religion and National Values, Cultural and Creative Arts, Pre-vocational Studies, Nigerian Languages, and Physical and Health Education.

Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) (Internal):

• Date: July 12th – August 10th, 2023
• Subjects: The SSCE exams will cover a wide range of subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Agricultural Science, Economics, Financial Accounting, Commerce, Geography, Civic Education, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Studies, Government, Literature in English, History, French, Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, Further Mathematics, and many more.

Note: The NECO examinations will be conducted in two phases: the Practical and Theory sections.

Practical Examination Phase:

• Date: July 12th – July 26th, 2023
• Subjects: Sciences, Home Economics, Technical Drawing, Auto Mechanics, Woodwork, and other practical subjects.

Theory Examination Phase:

• Date: July 27th – August 10th, 2023
• Subjects: All theory-based subjects across various disciplines.

Important Reminders:

• Candidates are advised to arrive at their respective examination centers at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
• All necessary examination materials, such as calculators, rulers, and writing materials, should be brought to the examination hall.
• Adhere to the examination guidelines and regulations provided by NECO.
