RE: PRESENTATION OF NEWLY APPOINTEES TO THE GRAND PATRON, IN PERSON OF PROF. ARMAYA’U HAMISU BICHI
The Vice Chancellor of Federal University Dutsinma, Katsina state, in person of Professor Armaya’u Hamisu Bichi, has been the great grand patron and a father to NAKSS, Fudma chapter, since it’s establishment.
While presenting him the newly appointees to NAKSS Fudma chapter, which held on 16th April, 2021. He stated that, the management is happy with NAKSS and they will all work in synergy to ensure NAKSS moves to the next level under his administration and promised to improve the overall welfare to NAKSS.
Moreover, he urged the newly appointees to call the total attention of students to stay away from cultism, drug abuse and other antisocial behaviors that could truncate their academic pursuits. He added that ‘drug abuse effect not only health but also an academic performance which led to several effects such as academic pressure, brain damage, memory loss, attention difficulties, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, academic and social problems, liver diseases, kidney diseases, loss of job, malnutrition, mental problems, psychological changes including aggression, paranoia, depression and many more.
Vice Chancellor felicitated with the caretakers on their appointments and assured his deep and esteem support. He urged the newly appointees to be good ambassadors not only to NAKSS, but also FUDMA, and to withstand all the negative pressures that will arise while on their offices.
He also call the total attention of the newly appointees to conduct a free, fair, credible and democratical students election on an exact time.
He lastly call on the appointees to reveal an administration which will maintain a peaceful, serene, docile, biddable, malleable and hygienically environment which shall foster academic excellence not only to NAKSS members, but to the overall students of Federal University Dutsinma, Katsina state.
Prof Sir, we are indeed forever grateful for your fatherly advises, support and encouragement. ‘May Almighty Allah continue safeguarding you from your known and unknown antagonist.
