A borehole project in Kano state named after Imam Ali (AS) has been accomplished by Youths Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria as dedication to the rightful heir of the Holy Prophet and first infallible Imam, Imam Aliyu Ibn Abi Talib (AS).
The borehole was constructed by of youths of Na’ibawa cycle. Earlier, the youths had pledged during a rotational maulids of Imam Ali (AS) to construct a borehole in each respective cycle of the eight total cycles that enclosed the Kano metroplis and its outskirts.
On successful completion of the project, the circular unit chairman of the youths who was represented by the chairman Kano state wing Alh. Ado has commissioned the project on Thursday 8/4/2021.
Members of the concerned community have excitedly expressed their appreciation for the kind humanitarian aid donated by followers of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky. They expressed their thankfulness solely to the leader of the Movement Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and prayed for his immediate freedom, for the fact that, this was part of his good teachings rendering humanitarian assistance to people in need.
Speaking on behalf of the youths, Alhaji Ado explained to the people of the concerned community that, the youths emulate lessons from the noble life of Imam Ali (AS) during his reign in Madina.
Hence, “We decided to construct the borehole to ease the suffering of the people of this community whenever they are in need of water. This is the first monument, the youths have dedicated themselves to build a like of this at each cycular unit of the eight eght circular units ” he said.
Alhaji Ado added that, “As part of his generosity, Imam Ali (AS) had constructed many wells in Madina, then, to ease the suffering of the people of Madina while in need of petching water for domestic purposes”.
